I was in A&E department at TanTockSeng hosp from 2.45am to 11.30am yesterday. Let me tell u wat on earth has happened to me. Since tuesday i was feeling abit feverish, but i just thought it was becoz of the weather so i just took panodol. But my fever went higher the next day (Wed) so i decided to go to nearby clinic. I had phelgm, cough n high fever of 38C. After i came from the clinic i took the fever panodol,(doc's one) antibiotic n cough syrup. Things turned out worse!!! i started vomiting all my food n medicine! it was like after eating a meal, 20 mins later i vomit everything out tgh with my phelgm. its gd tat the phelgm came out but my food n medicine came out too! with an empty stomach i drank barely water (gd when having fever) but 15 mins later i vomitted the barely water out. My body felt damn weak (no food or medicine) n decided to take my temp. It was a freakin 39.2C!!! i was like wtf!?! told my mum abt it n she did the cold water towel treatment. She wiped my body hot spots 4 like an hr. The temp went down to 39C. My dad went to his work half hearted (night shift) after seeing his princess (me!) lying down so weak. My mum gave me panodol fever at 12am. At around 1am plus, i vomitted it out. My mum n dad had planned tat they bring me to this clinic in serangoon central where the doc's medicine always works wonders 4 me. I do kinda regret tat i shud hav gone there instead of the nearby clinic. It was around 2.15am n i couldn't sleep. was feeling dizzy. I told my mum if we could go hospital becoz i knew for sure my temp will rise sooner or later. She called my dad. My aunt was on leave so she accompanied me to TTSH A&E. All fever patient are treated in isolated area where they are at 70 fans (great ventilation) They took my blood 4 test. They put me on drip n the doc intially said tat i can leave at 6am. But even after 2 drip packets (it reduces fever n 2 pkts r usually enuf to reduce fever) But after 1 n 1/2 drip pkt, the nurse took my temp n it was still 39C. She told the doc. Two docs came to me. One gav me panodol n another asked if i had any traumatology (serious injury or violence) I didn't hav any of it. Things became even worst when this drunken indian man got admitted in A&E. He gav a hard time to all the nurses n doc by refusing to stay in bed. Also he gav me pervertic looks which grossed the hell out of me. It was already 9am in the morning n my temp was finally 38C. I was on my 3rd drip pkt n this time around the morning staff were in charge of me. Another mad indian man got admitted but he just lay down on his bed n shouting vulgarities to himself n also sudden outbursts of rock songs. LOL. I was finally discharged at 11.30am. The doc told me that there was virus in my blood which was causing the high fever. He said i needed to rest well n gav me 1 wk of mc. Becoz i m kind of contagious nw. But he did reminded me n my dad that if by Sunday, i still hav fever of 39C, immediately come straight to A&E for another blood test. I was telling myself that no way am i going to spend another 8hrs there! Last night i ate mee soup (1/4 of it) n took my medicine. I stopped takin the clinic medicine n just took the hospital medicine. The cough syrup this time around was quite strong because i fell asleep at 9.30pm!!! me sleepin that early is not me. But i did hav slight fever (not 39C) on n off. I slept quite peacefully thanks to the cough syrup. I was also prescribed vitamin C tablets to be taken every morning to boost my immune system to fight the virus. Hopefully the vitamin wins by Sunday. But the bad news is that i totally lost my voice. I woke up n couldn't even speak at all. My throat was freaking painful that yesterday. Its becoz i drank little water 4 the past 2 days since drinking too much water always made me vomit. Dad bout stepsils n almond jelly. I do seriously feel like eating ice-kanchang but my phelgm will become worse if i eat tat. Mum applied Vicks on my chest n back (i hate tat vicks but i had no choice this time around)

Okay pple, it has been a long time since i hav blogged. I was havin issues since my results came out. I didn't score well enuf to go to the uni course i want. All the available courses i can apply r like not my kind of interest AT ALL. I was like 'wats the point of entering a course that i dislike n waste my time n $?" So i hav decided to retake my exams again so that i can brush up my knowledge n score better this time. I really dun wanna waste my time in getting a degree in a course that i'm not interested in.
Anyway, my granny came to stay this wk. N damn, she drove to nuts on Sat (even though i was not having PMS) Sometimes i really wonder if there is any1 among my family n relatives who would actually grieve when granny dies? (i know this sounds mean but it was sumting that is wondering in mind all time) U see, pple say tat u got to be patient when handling grandma/grandpa since ageing is like entering another childhood something like that. Well, i have to say that pple who take care of them do hav limits too. My patience with her ended on Sat night. Well, here is the story.

She came home a wk ago. She said she wants to stay in my hse 4 a wk since she can't stand her daughter-in-law (my aunt) She lives there n i hav to definitely give my aunt, uncle and their sons (my cousins) 4 taking care of her all along. Granny wanted a break from seeing my aunt's face so she decided to stay at my hse 4 a wk. Firstly, she spoils my bathroom heater. Thanks to her i had to bath in cold water from the pipe (things were worst since the weather was raining damn heavily for all those days that i had to bath in cold water) My mum boiled kettle water 4 granny but it fills only one pail (def not enuf 4 me)Granny has been chewing betel leaves since she was 7 yrs old. She was talking abt it so happily but i dun think it's sumthing that she shud be proud of. When she gaggles her mouth in the basin, it will be stained with orangy red stuff. When i go to the basin to brush my teeth i would be so damn disgusted. My brother managed to escape all of this since he stays in his school the whole wk.
On sat, my parents went out to my cousin wedding in the evening. I couldn't go becoz i had to babysit the old woman. When my parents left, i went to eat my dinner in my rm. She came to my rm, saw me having my dinner, and asked me to give her medicine (its for some leg pain) i was like okay, then gav her medicine. She asked for milk but i told her tat she can only drink an hr later since she jus took med. I went bk to eat. Half an hr later she came asking 4 milk.I told her not yet. 15 mins later she again asked 4 milk. i then warmed the milk n gav her. After drinking she went bk to sleep. She asked me if she needs to accompany me till parents come. i said its okay becoz i got lots of stuff to do (she's partially deaf so i hav to speak really loudly) I carried the fan n put it in her rm n went bk to do my stuff. 20 mins later she came out sayin that she better accompany me til parents come. I told her there was really no need n told her bk to go to sleep. half n hr later she came to my rm n ask why parents are taking a long time. I was abit pissed but still maintained my composure n told her tat they might be talking stories with other relatives, thus gettin late. She went bk to her room. 20 mins later, i went to make a phonecall to my fren. My hp had problems so i used the house phone in the living room. I was talking to her when my granny came out of her rm AGAIN! i was like wtf!?! she came over to me n asked me if i talking to mum or dad. I calmly told her that i m talking to my fren n also informed her that parents r on their way nw. N then she replied me say "u better hang up nw n call ur mum first n asked when will they be bk. U can talk to ur fren later" this time i raised my voiced quite loudly n told her tat "GRANNY!!!! THEY R ON THEIR WAY NOW! I HAVE ALREADY CALLED THEM!!!! U GO N SLEEP" upon hearin this she went to drink milo n then went bk to her rm. My fren on the phone calmed me down coz she was able to hear me screaming. I went bk to my rm thinking that if there was any other time i hav to babysit her, i m not going to do that again. ever. 10 mins later the oldwoman came back to my rm. This time she asked me "did u really called ur parents?" i said "yes". She tot i was lying n again asked me "really? really?" Tat's when i lost my fuse... my reply was " YES! YES! YES!" this time around i was not speaking loudly but i shouted. She kept quiet n went bk. 10 mins later my parents came bk. I told my mum everything n she said the this is how she spoke to my cousins in their hse. Whenever if she asked them if u have made a phonecall she'll always suspect if my cousins had made the call. For eg, there was a time when she wanted my uncle to buy juice 4 her. So she asked my cousin to call him n let his dad know. my cousin already made the call but granny kept on asking if he really called. My cousin just raised his voice slightly saying that he had made the call n my granny said "why are shouting? u want to beat me up isit? come lah, beat me" my cousin just kept quiet feeling sad. If my granny thinks that i m like my cousin, i sure proved her wrong that night after screaming bk at her. The next morning she was too scared to talk to me.lol. even right nw, she only speaks one sentence per day to me!Can't wait for her to go bk!!!!!!!

my granny came hm today n is staying with me 4 ONE WHOLE WEEK!!!!! i bet she's going to wake me up at 4am again!!!!!! AIGOOOO!!!!!

yup, i hav started tutoring my cousins n my fren to pass time. it seems they all hav tests coming up so i was asked to help them. Being a former girl guide, i decided to show my acts of kindness as usual..i had to help sharon wif bio stuff n some of her topics r wat i hav studied 4 A levels so it was easy 4 me to understand her doubts. Since some of da biological concept seems difficult for her, i had to create simple stories (like 4 DNA replication, i made up a story abt how a married couple divorced n remarried new spouse) She understood the concepts better in this manner.

oh n something very funny happened yesterday (okay, maybe its a serious issue lah) my bro went 4 a haircut at far east plaza since there was a promotion of $30 per haircut. He got excited at the price n decided to cut his hair. Halfway during the process the hairdresser accidently CUT HIS EAR!!!!! my bro said it wasn that painful but the cut was quite deep resulting in change of plaster four times! his blood was dripping onto the bib (u know the one u wear b4 haircut) Becoz of this unfortunate incident, my bro got 10% discount from haircut! when he removed the plaster justnow, i saw the cut. his flesh stuck onto the plaster!!! i noe this is not funny at all but i couldnt stop laughing! that cut does look gross. maybe this is his retribution 4 him 4 taking my concealor without my permission kept it with the whole nite (he stayed overnite in sch)

speaking of concealor, i dun noe why i get mosquito bites on my face more than pimples! i mean i hardly get pimple. but mosquito r always interested in my face more than my arms n legs! i cannot stand the itchyness n start scratching my face n soon there will be red patch on my face....aiyah! so sway sia.

hmmm....jan is going to be over soon.............i dun want time to pass soooo quickly............i dun want to get my results..........

so...HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!!!! i am finally 18 yrs old (but i still look like 16 lah LOL) i didn't really do anything special today. THANKS 2 ALL WHO WISHED ME!!! i was so happy that u guys rmb my bdae! Usually many pple will 4get my bdae becoz they will be so busy for X'mas preparations that they 4get my bdae =( that's the saddest issue 4 being born near X'mas....

n my bdae is actually 20dec...but i dun noe why the blog post says 19dec.

so today was the start of my preliums...the exam time-table is so fucked up. i hav both bio n phy practical on the same day (it's today)...n i hav Lit paper1 n phy paper3 on the same day! my poor brain has to convert from arts stream to sci stream on tat day =(
anyway, today is my practical day. there r a total of 2 grps 4 bio n phy.

Bio GRP 1 : 9am-11.30am
Bio GRP 2 : 2pm-4.30pm

Phy GRP 1: 9am-11.30am
Phy GRP 2: 2pm-4.30pm

So i was allocated to bio grp 1 n phy grp 2. after doing both papers, i realised that 4 the 1st time in my life PHYSICS PAPER WAS EASIER THE BIO!!! can u believe it??????
i didn't do a 10m Qns becoz i had no time. but thank god, i managed to complete the other experiments. The start of bio experiment was sway 4 me already. the lab technician has 4gotten to give me one of the chemicals. N that chemical was involved in the first Qns of the exam paper. So while everyone else has started doing all the mixing, i was staring at my test-tube tray n scratching my head on where the hell is my chemical. I peek at asma's n haifa's tray. i saw 5 chemicals on their tray. i looked at mine. i only had 4! so i had to cal my tcher, n he got the chemical 4 me. the lab was freakin cold n my mucus started flowing out during the last 20mins of the exam. Of course, i wiped using the lab's wipes. Desperate times calls 4 desperate measures lah.

After, the bio paper, me n asma went to canteen to go thru some physics stuff. N the grp 2 bio students somehow managed to know whatever questions that came out. they immediately revised all those topics. i was totally PISSED!!!!!!!!! WE GRP 1 HAD TO SUFFER ALL THOSE SHIT N STRESS DURING THE BIO PAPER N YOU GUYS JUST FUCKING CHEATED N WORST OF ALL, EVEN DISCUSSED THE PAPER DURING THE EXAM!!!!! IT IS A TOTAL UNFAIR TO THOSE IN GRP 1. of course, i m not blaming every single grp2 bio students of CHEATING, there were a few who actually didn't know the questions, did the paper ON THEIR OWN WITHOUT DISCUSSING. my bio tcher is kind, but in situations whereby students talk during exams, he shud step up n tell them off! but he seemed ignorant abt it which makes me us even more PISSED. seriously, this loser kind of cheating method totally sucks. I wonder how the bio grp1 students feel if they know what most of the bio grp 2 students did. aiyah, they all going to get distinctions 4 practical...

Physics prac paper was okay surprisingly. i was already feeling down but still tried my best 4 the paper. This time around i brought my tissue paper but i didn't hav any mucus flowing out! N even though i was in grp2 4 physics, i didn't asked those phy grp1 students thousand questions abt the paper coz i fucking know that it would be UNFAIR TO THEM!
